2012 Net sessions
Indoor nets for
senior players will again be held at Ipswich School on Henley Road, Ipswich.
Sessions are on Tuesday between 6.30 and 8.00pm on the
3rd, 10th & 17th April.Outdoor nets will commence on
Wednesday 25th April from 6.00pm.
Practice sessions for
junior members will commence on
Monday 30th April and will run until Monday 16th July, excluding the Bank Holidays on 7th May and 4th June.
ECB NatWest CricketForce 2012
Last year 14 volunteers undertook various tasks as part of the ECB NatWest CricketForce day. We managed to repair and paint the sightscreens and scorebox; remove the weeds from the net carpets; repair the practice nets themselves and have a general tidy up in the container.
It is hoped to run a similar day this year, so if anyone is able to volunteers, please let Norman know, so a suitable date can be arranged.
Dinner Dance
Ian and Tracy Booth have again kindly agreed to organise the Dinner / Dance this year. It will again be held at Ipswich Golf Club on
SATURDAY 13th October 2012. Further detail to follow nearer the time.
A golf tournament for the "Scrotum Trophy" will precede the Dinner/Dance. Further details in due course

Suffolk Cricket Alliance Knockout Cup Winners

Congratulations to the Sunday XI for winning the Suffolk Cricket Alliance Knockout Cup Final against BT & Waldringfield CC.

here Further congratulations are due, as they also finished Runners-up in Section B, thus gaining promotion to Section A for the 2012 season.
Youth Section
We will again be running junior teams in the Ipswich and District Youth League this season at U11, U13 & U15 level. Practice sessions will be on Monday evenings between 6.00 pm and 7.30 pm. The first session will be Monday 9th May and will continue until Monday 18th July (except for the Bank Holiday Monday on May 30th).
The cost of joining the junior section will be £10. As a condition of our use of the ground, a parent will also be required to pay a membership fee of £15 to Ransomes Sports and Social Club. Pease contact

St Margarets Cricket Club have received their Clubmark accreditation.

The award was obtained on 29th September 2008 and a presentation was made at Ransomes Sports Club on Friday 28th November 2008, and we join a small group of clubs in Suffolk who has received the award.
